CEREBRO VASCULAR ACCIDEUT. C. V. A.

Abstract
In 1970, from the early till September, total 46 cases of Cerebro-vascular accident (CVA) were observed. Among them 23 were cases of cerebral hemorrhage, 12 of.cerebral infarction(thrombosis 9, embolism 3), and 11 of subarachnoid hemorrhage.
All cases were admitted and some patients were treated with Cytomach, A.T.P. Epsilon, Vitamin K, Aminophylline, Complain.etc. and the others without.
The results are compared and it was concluded that in cerebral infarction and subarachnoid hemorrhage, those medicines listed above seems to have some effect, where as in cerebral hemorrhage the effect is doubtful. However, in view of the expiring serious conditions of most of the cerebra! hemorrhage cases on admission, arriving after being refused by other hospitals, those agents are considered to be worth-while to try on C. V. A cases irr the future also for further investigation of whether they are really effective or not.
